Plasma Resonance Therapy
Cold plasma light and resonant fields, shared one on one.
A quiet offering, shared directly and one on one. Informational, personal and unhurried. No claims, only observations: what the light is, where it comes from, and what you notice for yourself.
What it is
Two old ideas, one instrument
PRT pairs the high-frequency glow of the violet ray with the vortex geometry of the Rodin coil.
At its heart is a glass electrode, kin to the glass of a compact fluorescent bulb, filled with a noble gas. A high-frequency coil charges it until the gas inside comes alive as plasma: a violet light you can see, and a strong, steady buzz you can hear. Where the glass meets the skin you may feel heat, warmth or a gentle tingle, depending on your body's capacity for the charge. The body takes on charge much like a capacitor, and in PRT's understanding the current conducts and draws more where more is needed.
You hold the electrode yourself, over or lightly against the places you choose. Nothing is taken in, and nothing breaks the skin. It is simply light, field and frequency, and your own attention.
Cold plasma
The fourth state of matter
Solid, liquid and gas are the states we handle every day. Add enough energy to a gas and its atoms give up electrons: it becomes plasma, the state of lightning, the aurora and the sun. Almost all of the visible matter in the universe is plasma.
In a cold plasma the energy rides on the light, fast electrons while the gas itself stays close to room temperature. That's why the glow of the electrode can rest against the skin. The violet is the gas's own color as it glows; the crisp scent you may notice is a little ozone, made where the plasma meets the air.
- The light
- Violet, from the noble gas inside the glass
- The sound
- A strong buzz, and a crackle where the glass meets the skin
- The feeling
- Heat, warmth or a gentle tingle, as your body draws it
- The air
- A faint, clean scent of ozone
Lineage
From Tesla's laboratory to a quiet room
-
1891
Tesla's high-frequency currents
Nikola Tesla shows that currents alternating many thousands of times a second can pass over the body as light and warmth, and lights glass tubes with no wires at all.
-
1890s
d'Arsonval's studies
In Paris, the physician and physicist Jacques-Arsène d'Arsonval studies how high-frequency currents meet living tissue, work that gave the method its old name, d'arsonvalisation.
-
1910s–1950s
The violet ray
Gas-filled glass electrodes on a small high-frequency coil become a familiar instrument in homes and salons, named for the violet light they give.
-
Late 1900s
The Rodin coil
Marko Rodin describes a toroidal coil wound to a pattern from his vortex-based mathematics: the doubling circuit 1, 2, 4, 8, 7, 5, held by 3, 6 and 9.
-
Now
Plasma Resonance Therapy
PRT brings the two together: the violet plasma of a glass electrode, driven through a Rodin-wound coil, offered one person at a time.
Resonance
We are beings of light and current
PRT rests on a simple understanding: the body is not only chemistry. It is also electricity, energy and frequency, and it answers to coherent fields the way a string answers to its own note.
-
Bioelectric
Every heartbeat is an electrical event, and every thought travels as a current along a nerve. Each living cell holds a small voltage across its membrane. We are, quite literally, electric.
-
Bioenergetic
Energy moves through us as breath, warmth and rhythm. Many older traditions map those paths and centers, and speak of keeping them open and flowing.
-
The aether
Tesla and many of his contemporaries spoke of a subtle medium filling all space, through which light and life move. PRT works from that understanding: field, frequency and form, all of one fabric.
“All perceptible matter comes from a primary substance, or tenuity beyond conception, filling all space, the akasha or luminiferous ether.”
Resonance is the meeting place. A Rodin-wound coil folds its field into a torus, the shape drawn for a magnet's field, and for the heart's. Carried on violet plasma, that field is offered to the body's own bioelectric rhythm, gently, and without force. What happens next is the body's own.
A session
One on one, in person
PRT is offered privately and by direct relationship, one person at a time. There's no clinic and no menu: just a calm room, the instrument, and time.
Serving Tucson and beyond, by special appointment only.
-
Conversation
We begin by talking: how you are, what brings you, and what you'd like to explore. Nothing is assumed.
-
The light
You hold the electrode yourself, over or lightly against the places you choose: hands, feet, wherever you're drawn. For places that are hard to reach, I hold it for you. You stay clothed and comfortable throughout.
-
Noticing
You'll see the violet glow and hear its strong buzz, and may feel heat, warmth or a gentle tingle where the light meets you. Your only task is to notice.
-
Quiet
A few still minutes at the end, and a chance to put into words anything you noticed, if you wish to.
Observations, not claims
Yours to notice, yours to name
PRT makes no promises about what it will do for you. It offers an experience, and a practice of paying attention to it. Many people come to the light having looked for answers in a lot of places. They are welcome here exactly as they are, and whatever they notice is theirs.
PRT is a complement to a healthy lifestyle, not a replacement for it.
Care
Before a session
The light is not used with:
- a pacemaker, or any other implanted electronic device
- broken or irritated skin
- alcohol-based lotions, sprays or other flammable products on the skin
Jewelry and other metal are best set aside. You'll usually hold the electrode yourself; that's the preferred and primary way. For places that are hard to reach or hold against, the person offering the session holds it for you.
PRT is not medical care. It does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition, and it is not a substitute for advice from your doctor or other health professional. Please keep them informed.
Kindred studies
Sound, light and form
Two kindred explorations of frequency sit beside PRT. Integrating Sound is where sound becomes form: a live cymatics board and a field guide to vibration. Integrating Light is a study of Walter Russell's ten octaves of light, where every element is a tone of one wave.
